Classically trained and jazz-schooled across Mongolia, Russia, and the United States — with over 25 years in the teaching studio, Gima brings a rare depth to every lesson she designs.

Gima is a qualified piano teacher and music educator with over 25 years of experience, helping children aged 4–18 develop strong musical foundations and, most importantly, a genuine love of music.
Her musical education began in Mongolia and Russia and continued in the United States, where she deepened her musicianship in both classical and jazz studies. Along the way she studied and collaborated musically at Stanford, studied music theory and performed as a pianist and solo pianist in the Jazz Lab at Chabot College, and taught young students in group and private settings at Avloni Academy in San Jose.
As her career developed, Gima deliberately expanded her education into Montessori philosophy, early childhood development, and education — to understand how children learn, and how each stage of development shapes the way they absorb and understand music. Teaching music and group classes in a Silicon Valley Montessori environment deeply influenced her teaching philosophy, giving her a more complete picture of how music education supports children's cognitive, emotional, creative, and developmental growth.
"The piano is the tool. The child's future is the masterpiece."
Throughout her career she has taught a large and diverse community of students through private lessons, group instruction, and long-term music programs — and prepared and entered hundreds of students for ABRSM examinations, with a 100% pass rate and no unsuccessful exam results throughout her teaching career. Decades of teaching have given her a practical understanding of what helps students not only play the piano, but read music independently, build confidence, achieve recognized musical qualifications, and enjoy practicing and performing.
Her teaching is built around the internationally recognized Piano Adventures method, enhanced by her own approach developed through more than two decades of hands-on experience. She has now brought all of it into her own online piano-learning platform, designed for today's generation of students — personally creating and editing every video lesson, musical notation, demonstration, and learning material, combining proven piano pedagogy with a modern, engaging approach to music education.
Children growing up with screens and fast information aren't less capable — they need lessons that fit their world. Show one idea, ask a question, and let them play it immediately. Short, clear, and interactive.
It's not about how much the teacher talks — it's about how much the student understands. What key is this? What comes next? What do you hear? A child who discovers the answer doesn't just memorize it — they truly understand it.
Fifteen focused minutes every day beats hours once a week. Children don't need pressure — they need a routine, a clear goal, and gentle support. Talent may open the door; consistency keeps it open.
Every claim in this program is backed by over 25 years of real teaching and verifiable results. Gima's qualifications are not just certificates on a wall — they're the foundation of a curriculum that produces consistent, measurable outcomes for every student.

The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music is the world's leading music education body. Gima holds qualifications from ABRSM and has delivered a 100% pass rate for every student who has taken an ABRSM exam through this program.
Verified 100% pass rate"I've watched children arrive nervous, not knowing where to put their fingers — and leave years later performing pieces they're genuinely proud of. That transformation never gets old. Every lesson I design is built for that moment: the moment a child realises they can actually play."
